  34. Cool Edit 1.31 (on EPAS as cool131.zip) has full amplitude (volume)
  35. envelope.  It's an envelope waveform which allows you to put an infinite
  36. number of break-points, but I'm not sure exactly which parts are Attack,
  37. Decay, Sustain or Release, or how many there are of each!

  39. Cool Edit has some nice effects, like delay, echo, flange, etc., and also
  40. has filtering!  (sorry, no resonance)  :)
  41. It doesn't have those neat LFO's (tremelo & vibrato) like Patch Maker
  42. Lite does either...

  75. I have been trying to get my GUS MIDI adapter to work and NADA!  This is the
  76. setup:

  78. Korg M1 for controller set to MIDI channel for send and recieve.
  79. Cubase/Score for Windows version 1.02
  80. Using the Latest GUS Windows drivers.  
  81.  
  82. Under Cubase, you select to use the MME drivers for MIDI and then it should
  83. all take care of itself.  When I try playing back existing sequences, nothing
  84. sounds on my M1.  In addition, the little LED lite on the MIDI adapter does
  85. not light up (on the MIDI out port).
  86.  
  87. When I try to record by sending midi data from the Korg M1 to the sequencer, the
  88. little LED lite over the MIDI in port flickers(showing activity), but the 
  89. sequencer registers absolutely NADA!
  90.  
  91. I get no different results when using The Midisoft sequencer.

  93. Anyone know whats wrong?

  95. BTW - I am inches from throwing my GUS in the trash and just getting myself
  96. a legitimate MPU interface ( no matter how f___ing good the GUS sounds
  97. in the Future Crew Demos!).

  113. This is a truly lame thing to put in the digest so I will attempt short.
  114. I cannot seem to find a good location where music sharing is going on on
  115. the internet ie. 669 mods, midi files, etc.  If someone knows one or could
  116. point me in the right direction, please e-mail me direct instead of wasting
  117. more digest space.  PS. I don't get Usenet here... :(
